There are some scenarios when an Interprefy Now session will be closed down and log all participants out.
An Interprefy Now session will be closed down, logging everyone out, in the scenarios below:
- The last host of the session logs out: Interprefy Now will close the session within 5-6 seconds after the last host logs out.
- Nobody uses the microphone button to speak: After 30 minutes of no microphone usage the session closes and logs everyone out.
- The event is deactivated in the backend: Everybody is logged out immediately.
- The last host loses connection: the session is not disturbed during the first 15 minutes and the host can return without the session getting disconnected. If the host does not return within 15 minutes, the session is closed and all guests are logged out.
Please note, an Interprefy Now will not close down if:
- A guest logs out: it makes no difference, the session continues.
- A host logs out: It makes no difference, as long as they are not the last host.
- The last host switches to another app on their phone: the session remains active in the background however it could overload the internet connection if the other app uses a lot of it (eg. watching videos, etc).
