Introduction

We are excited to introduce Presentation Mode, a new feature designed to enhance your caption display experience when using Captions in a New Window. This mode is ideal for:

  • Embedding captions into video feeds
  • Any event that requires a more customised caption display

Key benefits of Presentation Mode

Tailored Responsiveness

Presentation Mode offers an enhanced viewing experience for users using larger screens or just needing finer control over the size and style of the text. It offers seamless responsiveness and improved readability along with much greater customisation options.

Extensive Customisation Options

With Presentation Mode you can adjust caption display according to your preference. To improve captions’ clarity and impact, you can customise the following elements:

  • Font style and size

  • Line between Clauses
  • Kerning

Captions Sensitivity Control

We’ve introduced a Captions Sensitivity Slider to give you more control over captions sensitivity. This feature allows you to adjust how quickly captions update for better readability.

When you decrease the sensitivity value, captions will update more slowly, but the final sentence will remain the same regardless of the selected level.

The slider includes 5 levels, with level 5 (current and default) being the most responsive. Lower levels reduce update frequency for a more consistent display.
