How to Manage Interprefy Portal Users

How to manage user access to your Interprefy Portal

Managing access to your Interprefy Portal is essential for maintaining security and ensuring your team has the tools they need to run successful multilingual events. The Users menu provides the ability to control who can create rooms, manage agents, or oversee your organization's entire account.

Accessing the User Management Hub

To get started, locate the Users menu in the top navigation bar. From this screen, you can see a complete list of existing users, check their status (active or pending), and manage their access levels.

Step-by-Step guide: Inviting a New User

Adding a colleague to your organization is a quick, four-step process:

1. Click the "Invite User" Button

Once inside the Users menu, click the "Invite User" button (typically located in the top-right area of the interface).

2. Enter the Email Address

Type in the email address of the person you wish to invite.

Ensure this email is correct, as the invitation link will be sent directly to this inbox and is unique to the recipient.

3. Define the User Role

You must assign a permission level to each user. The Interprefy Portal offers two primary roles:

  • Member: Ideal for team members who need to use services. Members can create virtual rooms, set up Agents, and manage event-specific settings.

  • Admin: Designed for account owners and managers. Admins have full control; they can manage the entire organization, view plan usage, and invite or remove other users.

4. Click "Send Invitation"

Once you have selected the appropriate role, click "Send Invitation." The system will automatically dispatch an email containing a secure link for the user to set up their account and join your organization.

Managing Existing Users

From the main Users dashboard, you can also perform the following maintenance tasks:

  • Monitor Status: See if an invited user has accepted their invitation or if it is still "Pending."

  • Audit Access: Regularly review your user list to ensure that only current team members have access to your plans and data.
