Preparing interpreters for successful multilingual events
To ensure reliable interpretation and consistent sound quality, Interprefy provides technical guidance and platform training for all interpreters before the event.
Interprefy platform training for Interpreters consists of self-paced online course and live training session, ensuring interpreters are comfortable using the platform’s controls and features and understand key event procedures.
Interprefy recommends scheduling interpreter training as soon as the event is confirmed — ideally at least a week before the event. The exact preparation time-frame may vary depending on the number of interpreters requiring training and the availability of training slots. Early coordination helps ensure all interpreters are properly onboarded and ready for the event.

- Live training session with Interprefy training team. To verify interpreter's technical setup and connection stability, check audio quality and provide guidance on optimal equipment configuration, explain platform functions and controls and conduct practical exercises.

Consistent sound quality and uninterrupted interpretation depend on both preparation and a stable technical setup including:

- Headset, or combination of headset and a directional mic, to provide best sound quality.

What to look for when outsourcing interpreters
To ensure the best quality of service, we recommend that interpreters meet certain experience and qualification standards. When sourcing interpreters for your events, consider the following criteria:

At least two years of professional interpreting experience, or participation in a minimum of 40 conferences within the past three years.

Familiarity with online interpreting platforms, such as Interprefy.

Formal training in Interpreting, Translation, or Language Studies.
